
Author and Sinixt Elder,Marilyn James and Author, Taress Alexis will by hosting a presentation and signing for their book “Not Extinct: Keeping the Sinixt Way” at the Boundary Museum and Interpretive Centre
JJ Verigin, Executive Director for the Union of Spiritual Communities of Christ will be a special guest.
At 12pm, There will be a Potluck with healthy snacks and the presentation begins at 1pm.
Thanks to the Lottery Corp. Gaming Grant for Multiculturalism; the Boundary Museum’s Doukhobor/Sinixt Reconciliation Exhibit/Project, based on the unveiling of a Granite Stone Plaque in 2009, in Brilliant BC, between Doukhobor and Sinixt descendents, JJ Verigin and Lawney Reyes, with the research of MylerWilkinson, and the support of Marilyn James, and the endeavours of the Doukhobors, including JJ Verigin, a moment of History revealed itself. The Reconciliation continues.
